GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - Midland powered past Salt Lake 9-3 in game7 of the Alpine Bank Junior College World Series.

Midland (51-10, 1-1 JUCO) scored in the first inning and never looked back, building a 5-0 lead through four innings. Caleb Eagar highlighted the offense with a two-run homer in the third and finished with three RBIs, while Cole Neatherlin added a three-run blast in the seventh to stretch the lead to 8-0.
Salt Lake (39-17, 0-2 JUCO) broke through late with solo home runs from AJ Thomas, Willy Roberts, and Kade Gambill, but Midland answered with a ninth-inning homer from Caiden Olivas to seal the win.

Midland totaled 15 hits and held Salt Lake scoreless through the first six innings in the victory.
