#ROADTOGRANDJUNCTION:
The Jefferson Vikings took out the Delgado (LA) Dolphins in the South Central Championship game 19-5 behind big performances by Joey Polak and Jacob Kalusniak.  Both men picked up 5 RBI’s and went a combined 7-10 in the championship victory.  This will be the fourth trip to Grand Junction for Jefferson.
 
Polak leads the team in batting average at .464.  He also has 92 runs batted in and 27 home runs.  His home run and runs batted in totals are best in the nation.  His slugging percentage is .974, second in the country.  Justin Perkins hits .385 with 10 home runs and 61 runs batted in.  The Vikings have seven hitting over .300.

The team hits .350 on the year and averages over 9 runs per contest.   They also have 87 stolen bases.
