The Barton Cougars (47-13) bounced back from an early loss in the Region VI/Central District Championship game, to top Cowley (KS) twice in earning their first ever trip to Grand Junction.
Brett Bonar is the heavy stick for the Cougars, hitting .413 with 67 runs batted in and 11 home runs. Those numbers all lead the team. Kaden Fowler is hitting a few points behind him at .407.
