The Fire Ants of Univeristy of South Carolina Sumter (USC Sumter) will make their first appearance in Grand Junction after taking two of three from Potomac State in the District Tournament.  USC Sumter (42-19) took care of Potomac Stat 8-2 in game 1 before dropping game two 5-2.  The Fire Ants jumpted out to an early 3-0 lead in the final game and held on to a 4-2 win.

Colie Bowers is a perfect 9-0 in 14 appearances.  Bowers has a 1.65 ERA and struck out 91 over the season.  

Tee Dubose is hitting .322 with 39 RBI while Justin Hawkins, hitting .294, has 35 RBI and six homeruns.  Brett Auckland is quick on the bases, leading the squad with 16 stolen bases to go along with 33 RBI.
