NJCAA Baseball Coaches Association Coaches Hall of Fame
Hamilton attended Mesa Junior College and continued when it became a four-year institution as a great baseball player. Honoree of NAIA Academic All-American, NAIA All-Region, and Most Valuable Player, he signed as a free agent with the California Angels. He also was an assistant coach at the former Mesa State and infield instructor for the Milwaukee Brewers. In 1986, he served as co-director of tournament play for the JUCO World Series and named Tournament Chair in 2003.
