NJCAA Baseball Coaches Association Coaches Hall of Fame
Rowlands was Baseball Coach at Truman College (Illinois), 1962-1966 & 1988-1989. He coached basketball; golf, men’s and women’s swimming, and was Athletic Director 1967-1988. Rowlands is a Golf Prof, long-time NJCAA Director, member of Baseball Rules Committee, Gymnastics & Golf Eligibility Comm, Women’s Athletics & Exec Committees. He is the recipient of Outstanding Illinois Educator Award.
