NJCAA Baseball Coaches Association Coaches Hall of Fame
During his 25 years at Florida Community College, Roey’s teams won 759 games. He was NJCAA Region VIII Coach of the Year twice, and 1987 Coach of the Year in the Southwest Region. Roey’s team finished third in the 1987 JUCO World Series. Roey said, “A trip to Grand Junction is the ultimate experience for a junior college player.”
