Richard A. Lessman, head baseball coach at St. Louis Community College/Meramec for the past 23 years, was named District Coach of the Year 9 times. His teams have appeared in the JUCO World Series 9 times, winning the championship in 1974. Lessman’s baseball articles in JUCO Review are numerous. His overall baseball coaching record is 758-256.
