NJCAA Baseball Coaches Association Coaches Hall of Fame
Zimmerman is head coach at Odessa (Texas) College. He was Region 9 Coach of the Year 10 times; Region 14, three times. He coached in NJCAA All-Stars in Cuba in 1991; Mexico in 1992; West team in the 1985 National Sports Festival. He was a JUCO player for Mesa State College, Grand Junction. He is Vice President of the NJCAA Baseball Coach Association (2000).
