Creek enters his 34th season as baseball coach at Lake Land College, Mattoon, Illinois. Career record of 1087-552. Lakers have won ten conference championships, three state titles and 18 sectional tournaments in 32 years. Creek was named Great Lakes District Coach of the Year and Diamond Area Coach of the Year. He was Regional Coach of the Year three times, and helped coach the North team at the Olympic Sports Festival in Oklahoma City to a gold medal in 1989.
