Bishop is a retired long-term Colorado Mesa University (formally Mesa State College) administrator and former assistant baseball coach during early JUCO years. Tillie has been a member of the Grand Junction JUCO Baseball Committee for 34 years. He served as both Representative and Senator for 26 years in General Assembly of Colorado and is a highly regarded leader locally in Grand Junction and statewide.
