2000 NJCAA Outstanding Service Award winner, Bergman has spent 27 years making sure NJCAA JUCO teams competing have the best experience possible. He began teaching in Mesa County School District in 1975, which included Asst. Baseball Coach from 1979 to present. Bergman has been honored as an outstanding educator: Colorado Teacher of the Year, Outstanding Educator Coach, Lifetime Achievement-Colorado Discover Ability & Educator-Grand Junction Chamber of Commerce.
