NJCAA Baseball Coaches Association Coaches Hall of Fame
Sylvia is a former baseball coach at Housatonic CC, Bridgeport, Connecticut. In 25 seasons Sylvia’s record was 589 wins and 332 losses; 13 times Connecticut Community College AA Coach of the Year. NJCAA Region XXI Coach of the Year in 1979-81-89. He was head baseball coach for the East Team in the 1986 Olympic Festival held in Houston, Texas.
