During his tenure at Lincoln Land CC, Springfield, Illinois, 1969-2002, Kracik compiled a record of 893-606 and was named Regional Coach of the Year seven times, District Coach of the Year four times and NJCAA Division II Coach of the Year in 1994 and 2000.  He has served on NJCAA Baseball Coaches Association committees and was inducted into the Illinois High School Coaches Association Hall of Fame.
